tcsig.jalt.org Advertising Policy

On tcsig.jalt.org, advertisements including, but not limited to, banners or text ads are clearly placed in designated areas within the site and are clearly marked. Likewise, any content provided by an advertising sponsor is clearly marked as such, and is physically separated from member-created content. In addition, we are selective in the advertising we choose to accept. Our advertising policies are as follows:

We will clearly distinguish advertising from informational content, primarily by design and or placement. We will design tcsig.jalt.org to avoid confusion between advertising and member-created content.

Advertising on tcsig.jalt.org will comply with the laws and regulations of Japan, the country in which the site is based. We will comply with existing laws regarding any promotions, rebates, or free or discounted offers on our web site.

tcsig.jalt.org will have sole discretion for determining the types of advertising that will be accepted and displayed.

Under no circumstances will tcsig.jalt.org's acceptance of an advertisement be considered an endorsement of the product(s) advertised or the company that manufactures it.

tcsig.jalt.org retains the right to reject advertising of any kind, and will not accept advertising that, in tcsig.jalt.org's editorial opinion, is not "family friendly" or contains false or misleading information. In addition, tcsig.jalt.org advertisers must respect the terms of our privacy policy, and may not attempt to individually identify any users of our Web sites or obtain inappropriate access through other technological means to personally identifiable information.
